Payday Legends

This group is dedicated to recognizing some of the best players of Payday 2. If you were invited here, that means one of us feels you make a huge contribution as a player, and you rise above in most if not all occasions.

Is this a clan?

No. There are no formal events as of yet, no meetings or any of that. If you want to display the group tag {PDL} feel free. Eventually there may be streaming events, beta previews, or group events. At this time there is nothing planned.

Why am I here?

One of the principals of the group likely played with you in a public or private game, and considers you skillful enough to be listed among the best. Is this a complete list? Absolutely not. We're building this group based on actual experience with the players as we go along.

What Makes A Payday Legend?

You've got to be good. really good. Maybe you're an enforcer that just won't die, or a stealth ninja that runs circles around your opponents. Perhaps you are a great support team member, reviving people in the middle of battle while holding back a wave of trouble. Maybe you've mastered cover and can dance around a mob of enemies without getting hit. Maybe you can clear out a bank in a matter of seconds. Perhaps you went out of your way to help a downed teammate, even when everyone else was telling you not to.

What would disqualify me from being a Payday Legend?

Cheating, using hacks or exploits, being rude or mean to other people, or only playing for yourself. If you disregard the co-op aspect of the game, it doesn't matter how many cops you've killed or how many successful stealth missions you have. There is nothing legendary about any of the above qualities.

New Anti-Cheat system in development!

Brought to you by yours truly. I'm currently developing a pure anti-cheat system you can use with payday 2 to combat the increase and severity of cheats since the new trainer was released.

The original author of the trainer is out of the picture, however the new author has created some nasty new features towards griefing/trolling and so on.

So based on community input, i've started development of a standalone cheat system, which will address a number of issues current and past, including:

* skill point cheating. using maximum skillpoints above 120
* infamy hacking
* aimbot detection
* in-game weapon loadout switching detection
* wallhack detection (highlight all enemies)
* noclip detection (player is flying around, walking/shooting through walls)
* infinite health / ammo detection

it will have an in-game submenu for configuration of features. as of right now, auto-kick is being considered for any cheats that wouldn't generate a false positive. you will know when you join or host a game if anyone is using hacks, skillpoint cheats, or has hacked infamy. other in-game checks will be implemented.

During the loadout phase of the game, i will be spawning a background thread which will poll the steam api for quick and efficient data on any players in the game. This will post important information directly to your hud chat, so that you don't have to inspect players or open the painfully slow steam browser.

it will go into private beta when it is ready, and the only people allowed to beta test will be Legends group members. after the initial private beta period is over, i will open it to public beta.
