The group managed to pull themselves together after nearly being mauled by wolves, and staggered their way out of the forest and over to the nearest city within Bael. They arrived at Lightbridge and promptly raised the issue of Deepmist being invaded and arsoned with the higher rankings within the Lightbridge leadership, who allowed their city guard captain to direct you in the best way you could serve the city at this time, which was to deal with an upcoming band of thieves.
The group stumbled upon a rather vast network of underground passageways, some of which were dead ends but also appeared to collapse into doorways to who-knows-where. Happening upon a small watch of bandits they dispatched of 2 of them with reasonable brutality and somehow convinced the last that this was their way of auditioning for enforcer work within the thief group. They were led to what appeared to be the thieves hideout, a sizable warehouse which was currently home to at least 20 thieves, the leader of whom welcomed such fine brutality, and promised an upcoming job to solidify the groups position as hired hands; breaking into a government building to get their hands on some information...
