valve broke the server browser

yesterday's l4d2 update apparently broke the group server browser, meaning that lobbies can't directly connect to the server for the time being. this is a problem on valve's end and all i can do is wait for them to fix it.

in the mean time, the only options are to use valve's servers, let the game pick a random dedicated server and pray it's the right one, or organize lobbies outside of the game and manually connect to the server via ip. all of these options suck but it is what it is.
