The server resets weekly (Thursdays) in the afternoon (Pacific time). Typically, this means that there will be a new map, which will result in the loss of your base. You'll also lose any inventory. What isn't part of the weekly reset is the knowledge you learn via research table or workbench tech trees. However, this knowledge also resets monthly (first Thursday of each month).
