nixed ` eSports : You've just been nixed!

#nixed eSports represents a long standing tradition of teamwork and professional gaming.







:History of #nixed:
Originally in 2000 a CS 1.6 player named ashloo` founded a team known as aimscene, which succeeded in climbing all the way from season 18 of cs 1.6 CAL-open to season 22 of cs 1.6 CAL-invite and CAL-premier. Having mixed successes, many of the players, now leaving for full-time jobs and families, aimscene came to it's end in 2005.

After taking a break for a year, ashloo and select few members of the old aimscene reformed in CSS CAL-open for season 7 under the name #nixed eSports. Needing new members, two starters including sniper; Melody "TuneUp" Quan, and AK47 user; Francis "vision`" Diep, were added to the starting line up for the coming season of Open. After winning 2nd in open and 1st in intermediate, as well as first in main, #nixed had an opportunity to goto invite, however died due to outside influences.

:The Present:
Ex-member of the CSS portion of the #nixed team, Melody "TuneUp" Quan, has decided to attempt to ressurect #nixed eSports in a new gaming franchise starting with Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2. The future for #nixed will be one of competition in online leagues as they embrace Modern Warfare 2 as a staple franchise game.

:Trying Out for the #nixed League Team:
If you are requesting to join the #nixed team which will compete in various gaming leagues, the tryout will mostly involve a 1on1 cagematch on Scrap Yard versus Melody or one of the other sub-leaders, you must win at least 1 out of 3 matches to 15 kills. Playing a few matches of S&D with other team members will also be a part of the tryout, to see how well you perform with a team.

:Trying Out for the #nixed Pub Team:
If you wish to play with other #nixed members in public games or simply wish to join a team and learn from some experienced players at the same time in public matches for fun, the tryout is much simpler. It consists of simply playing a few public matches with Melody or another sub-leader and we will usually, in most cases, accept you into part of our team.
