It's been too long

The wait is finally over. After 3 years of the original run of the server, I have came back and rented a 24/7 server. Now that my 'O' Levels is more or less done and over with, I have time to dedicate my efforts into building and managing the server full time. However, there will be some changes that I am making, though they will not be too big of a deal.

Everyone who is in this steam group gets a special rank! In addition, there is a new steam group that I have created for the Gmod server. Join here. This group however, will be private to be remained as a memory.

Hey guys so I've been getting lots of PM from you guys asking me why am I not online or why the server has not been up lately. Well, here's why.

So I recently found out that playing computer was a very bad impact in my life, as it had changed both my character, the way I behave, etc. I became more vulgar, bad tempered, dumb in a sense I always get violent and many other stuff. But that is some of the reasons as to why I stopped playing computer games for a while.

What actually bothered me most was the fact that I'm starting to turn "half blind" due to the amount of computer games I play. My degree for my specs are already at 400 degrees or maybe even more because the last time I checked was back 2 years. My vision greatly affected the way I could see things normally and made me feel very worried that I might actually turn blind one day.

Thus, I decided that I actually stop playing computer games awhile until I reach Poly/JC or at least until I learn to control how much I play.

I know you guys really missed the server being up but I can't help it if I really want to stop my addiction. Also, I gain even more stress by how much comments and addons you guys suggest to me to fix/add into the server. It'll be great if you guys could understand or empathise with me.

Honestly speaking, I only started this gmod server solely for fun and enjoyment but now it seems more like something I have to do. I feel even more pressured when I have to do all the admin stuff by myself while you guys just have fun playing in the server.

It is really very hard and stressful for me to keep up with my school work and at the same time run the server. You may think that it is just oning the server and leaving it on but did you consider about adding in the suggested addons, fixing bugs in the server, etc.?

I suggest you guys go look for some other servers in the meantime while I focus on my studies and control my addictions. This might take a year, idk, maybe even more but all I know is that it takes time.

Hope you understand and stop spamming me in Steam whenever I on my computer.
