Team Layout
  1. In our first game I want to see how this layout will work out:
    1. Annyeong - mid
    2. F33L! - offlane
    3. AceBoogati - offlane
    4. Yamashi - safelane
    5. Test - safelane

  2. Then I'd like to see how this works out:
    1. F33L! - mid
    2. Annyeong - offlane (solo)
    3. Test - safelane (trilane)
    4. AceBoogati - safelane (trilane)
    5. Yamashi - safelane (trilane)

  3. Followed by:
    1. Yamashi - mid
    2. Annyeong - safelane (solo)
    3. Test - jungle
    4. F33L! - offlane
    5. AceBoggati - offlane

  4. Then:
    1. Annyeong - mid
    2. Test - offlane
    3. F33L! - offlane
    4. Yamashi - safelane (solo)
    5. AceBoogati - jungle

Obviously these don't have to be done in this specific order, but these combinations are certainly something that I'd like to try out. It'll give us a general idea of where we are at.

Cheers Team

Notes
General Notes:
  1. Our match today:
    • Generally we did good from start to finish. We got the picks nailed, we warded, we ganked, we pushed, we destroyed, we won. However there were a lot of behind the scenes that we just simply didn't even notice during the match itself. If you watch the replay from start to finish, you can see that, especially in the early to mid game, the enemy made a lot a lot of silly mistakes which completely brought them down to their knees and essentially just got their asses handed to them. Those were things like incorrect positioning, coming too close at the wrong time, etc. Just imagine what would happen if they managed to succesfully team fight us with Jugg killing all 5 of us in one go... It'd have been a disaster. Some of them, it seemed, didn't even know how to play. What I'm saying here is that we got lucky in a way. Luck eventually runs out. So in order to avoid problems just reinforce what I said last time - your position, their potential position, the minimap, the awareness of both teams' abilities, etc.
    • Of course that doesn't mean that we didn't improve our tactics from the previous times. We had many strong points as well. We had a great teamfight capability which we used to its full potential. We communicated well. We had a good map awareness due to wards. We were in places where we were meant to be.. most of the time. Early game runes were ours 80% of the time. All these improved factors resulted in us winning today
  2. Future tactics:
Apart from keeping our improved points from last time, next time we will also:
    • Stick to a pre-determined plan in terms of our picks (read below)
    • Keep working and improving on what I wrote down initally - everything has improved dramatically since last game, but it is still far from perfect. For example, we need to ramp up those denies. The amount we achieve at this stage is far far from perfect. We need to minimise their gain in both gold and XP early in the game so that it'd be harder for them to successfuly achive early ganks + it'll help us later in the game assuming we don't make silly mistakes. At times, maybe a support, should stack aincients for our carry to take care of to gain those bonuses that we need so much every second.
    • Please do add your thoughts in the comments section if you have some thoughts on your mind.

The Picks Build

The next game we have we have to follow this guide that I'm about to outline. If it works once/twice consecutively then we have a good idea of what heroes we should be going for / banning each time in order to win.

Judging from the current version of our data results this is what I can conclude:

  1. THE MUST HAVES
The qualities may stack (e.g. Melee - Initiator - Durable - Disabler - Support)
    • 2 Initiators
    • 2 Disablers
    • 1 Durable
    • 2 Support
    • 1 Lane Support
    • 2 Nukers

  2. THE ADD-ONS
Having these extras will maximise our effectiveness and the chances of winning, however they are situational and if the enemy's picks suggest you should go for other heroes, weigh up the options and choose what you think will suit your gameplay more.
    • +1 Disabler
    • +1 Durable
    • +1 Lane Support
    • +1 Nuker

Overall, we're on a good path. Once we can view our team mmr game after game we will be able to judge our progress more clearly. For now, however, keep working on all the feedback you have right now and we should see an increase in our wins.

Good job team

-Tek.
