Mythwright x Thronefall

Today we are excited to announce that Mythwright has acquired the Thronefall IP. We have been Thronefall mega fans ever since the launch in August 2023, and it’s no secret that we’ve already clocked up hundreds of hours in-game across the company. Paul from Grizzly Games had a few words to say about why he trusted us with the future development of Thronefall:

“Being just two people at Grizzly Games we always felt we lacked the resources to wholly explore what Thronefall could potentially be. While players kept longing for new content Jonas and I were also keen to move on to new projects. It’s incredibly exciting to hand off the entire IP to Mythwright — a team we trust to take great care of both the game and its community. We can’t wait to see where they take it next and for players to enjoy what comes from this new chapter.” — Paul Schnepf

We are incredibly honoured that Paul and Jonas at Grizzly Games are trusting us, and we can’t wait to bring you more of what you already love about the game.

So, what’s next for Thronefall?

We have plenty of exciting ideas for more content we would like to add, but we don’t want to make too many plans without first hearing from you, the community. We have put together a player survey[forms.gle], which we’d appreciate Thronefall fans filling in and letting us know what you would like to see next!

Mythwright will continue the close partnership established by Grizzly Games with Doghowl Games. Doghowl Games will continue to publish the mobile versions on Android and iOS.

We are looking forward to what awaits Thronefall in 2026, and are excited to share updates as plans come together.

After the holiday period, we will share new Thronefall channels to follow and join, including a new dedicated Discord, but for now, please follow our Mythwright social media channels to keep updated with all our games and news.
