Here's the thing. You said "Coffee is better than tea lol" Isn't it the same as posting a ridiculous comment hoping to make some 14 yr old laugh? Yes. No one's arguing that. As someone who is a scientist who studies /r/tea, I am telling you, specifically, in science, no one calls you a friendly person. If you want to be "specific" like you said, then you shouldn't either. They're not the same thing.
If you're saying "Give me coffee please" you're referring to the taxonomic grouping of lattes, cappucinnos, espressos, and macchiatos. Then yes you're right.
So your reasoning for calling a this drink a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ starbucks is because random people "call the black ones ♥♥♥♥♥♥ starbucks?" Let's get the caffes, and affogatos in here too.
Also, calling someone a latte or espresso? It's not one or the other, that's not how taxonomy works. They're both. A coffee is a coffee and a member of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ starbucks family. But that's not what you said. You said a coffee better than tea, which is not true unless you're okay with calling all coffees of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ starbucks family at /r/starbucksmasterrace, which means you'd call lattes, cappucinnos, espressos, and macchiatos ♥♥♥♥♥♥ starbucks too. Which you said you don't.
