Sup Broheims?

Just wanted to post a quick checklist of things in preparation for the LAN next week

1. Who is coming?
I have confirmed responses from Tom, Kit, the Lugtons and Ruf, but I do not know Greg's plans.

2. What to bring?
As mentioned in the event notice, rigs will be transported by the Lugtons (I will chat to one of you to set about organising rig collection and transport). Other items will probably have to be taken by hand. You will probably need a sleeping bag, pillow, rollout mattress, toiletries and a towel. You are also more than welcome to bring films, food and fuel (that is to say, alcohol). This is by no means a dry LAN. There will almost certainly (that is to say, without question), be some sort of chivalry drinking game. It can only end well. There is also a tesco and a waitrose nearby.

EDIT - we will also need a spare folding table as the kitchen table will only take 4. I have got 5 chairs though, so that won't be an issue.

EDIT 2 - if someone could bring a multitab or 2 (particularly one with a long cord), that would be peachy

3. What about sleeping arrangements?
As most of you know, my flat is not the roomiest place. However, we should be able to sleep everyone. The sofa folds out into a bed which should accommodate two. I will also provide two rollout futons which are both pretty comfy. It would be great if at least a couple of people could bring a rollout mattress - I have a couple kicking around but they aren't the thickest things, so more mattresses will equal better sleep. Things in the flat can be shifted around for the duration of the LAN in order that everyone can fit, and all the sleeping kit can be rolled up and stashed whilst we are actually playing. If we keep it neat and tidy it should be fine.

4. What games?
Currently Planetside 2 and Chivalry are the top picks, but there will of course be other things. Probably CoH, because there is always CoH. If you want to play something in particular, no stress - the flat has decent Internet and there is a 1tb HDD on hand for transfers. There is also a tv for films/episodes/informative videos on where the hobbits are being taken.

I think that is everything. I will edit this if I suddenly remember something of vital import. Anyway, have a fantastic Emperormass and I will speak to you all very soon!
