War, Crisis, and Military Orders

Today, May 17th 1940, we have had a horrible incident. Following a period of relavant peace and inactivity, with some Communist and Facist protests, it resulted in violence. Communist and Facist protesters alike today in the Capitol have been victims to terrorism, the two seperate parties got dangerously close to eachother and violence in front of the Lincoln Memorial, and then bombs. Both parties were caught in the rubble as gunfire opened up from an unseen source. The military, already in the area in heavy numbers to prevent a riot, took down the 10 snipers as paramedics rushed in surrounded by State Police and Marines putting down violent protesters already blaming eachother for the attack. On all 10 of the shooters however we found something in common; Icelandish passports. With rising tensions with Iceland, and similar attacks reportedly in German areas, we have declared war on Iceland. The marines escorted by the Atlantic Fleet will be attacking Greenland as Germany attacks Iceland itself. We will meet in its capital. In other military news, we have had succesful testing of our newest weapon and have begun mass production secretly with top notch security. Also, military leaders, speak with me please.
