Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Tourney

Hey everyone. So... As most of you already know, I'm hosting a HL2DM tournament.
This is NOT a CU, eFPS, CAL, or WZ inspired tournament. It will be run ENTIRELY by me and a few other trusted friends.

I guess I'll get to the point.

First off: PRIZE. This is going to be where first-place winner gets $2,000 USD.
Now, most people find it difficult to believe that I'm actually downing 2 grand on this tournament.
I will post a picture of a slip of paper from my bank account (Obviously with all personal info blurred out) showing the money I have in it.
I will, at the time of the winner, be putting this 2g into PAYPAL for who ever wins.
Do NOT ask me to upload ANY money to Paypal BEFORE the tournament is over for "proof." I WILL NOT upload 2 thousand dollars to an unsecured website just to let it sit there for ever.
Furthermore; If you ARE NOT OLD ENOUGH to have a Paypal, do NOT bother joining the tournament UNLESS you have someone of legal age / consent to open a Paypal and retrieve the money FOR YOU.
I will NOT be sending money ANY other way than Paypal. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Secondly: If any questions, concerns, or comments are to be made; please direct them to me. Steam ID being "nolmts" and you're more than welcome to add me.

Third: This is purely a 1v1 tournament. There is no 2v2. No divisions. Matches will be pooled at random.
In the event that a match is pooled against two players where they BOTH know who will clearly be the winner, they will be randomed again to fit someone more their skill level.
Unless the two players are okay with their randoms.
This is a BOTD basis. If everyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about EVERYONE they get, it will be 100% randomized and it will no longer matter who gets who.
You have to verse or give up your match. Simple.

Fourth: Map list is currently To-Be-Announced. Please feel free to give suggestions and contribute if any feels necessary!

*If your enemy picks a map, you CANNOT pick that map during the match.
*For instance, if your enemy picks dm_intensity, you cannot choose that map during the match. You must choose another.
*In the event that there's a tie (first map was won by player1, and second map was won by player2), then the third map will be randomized.

Fifth: Date is also To-Be-Announced. I'm estimating within 6-12 months. I want to give everyone ample time to get their skill back up.

Please keep in mind that this tournament is meant to be competitive, but also fun at the same time.
Regardless of your skill level, PLEASE partake, as it'll make for a great overall tournament!
