Greetings fellow nerds.

This is the official steam group for the Academic Magnet VGR Club.

The main purpose of the VGR club is to open up new opportunities for club members, allowing you to connect with other gamers to socialize and play with - both online and off.

If your passion for video games goes even farther than casual or competitive play, you might want to consider looking into a thesis topic on video games - a commonality shared by the four founding members of the club. We will discuss research subjects, thesis ideas and more at club meetings, which are held every Monday at lunch in Mr. Phillips' room.

Our main games of interest right now include:

Super Smash Brothers 4
League of Legends
Counter Strike: Global Offensive

We will host Smash tournaments at school throughout the year, and hope to organize ranked teams for LoL and CS:GO as well. If you have any games you'd like to suggest the club to look into, feel free to let one of the group moderators know, or simply post it in the forum.

Hello everyone:

You may know me as Daniel, my IGN Piebloxxer (~Pie~ tag in Sm4sh), or just "that kid who writes the stuff on the whiteboards".
