Optic.png OpTic Gaming has been around Call of Duty scene since MW2.png Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez, the owner and one of the founders of Optic.png OpTic Gaming, has made Optic.png OpTic Gaming a household name in competitive Call of Duty. Optic.png OpTic Gaming has won numerous events, one of the more notable events that Optic.png OpTic Gaming has won, was CODXP.png Call of Duty XP. At CODXP.png Call of Duty XP, Optic.png OpTic Gaming placed first and claimed a hefty prize of $400,000. Ever since the start, Optic.png OpTic Gaming has been a prestigious team in competitive Call of Duty. Having two competitive teams at one point, Optic.png OpTic Gaming and Optic.png OpTic Nation was a first of its kind. Optic.png OpTic Gaming had two competitive Call of Duty teams but later released Optic.png OpTic Nation, keeping Optic.png OpTic Gaming and making the Optic.png OpTic Nation name a sniping team on YouTube. Optic.png OpTic Gaming has some notable characters on the team. NaDeSHoT, known as "America's favorite Call of Duty player". Ricky joined Optic.png OpTic Gaming upon his former team Unite.png UNiTE releasing their whole roster. In order to add Ricky to the Optic.png OpTic Gaming roster, the team released JKap. Following UMG Philadelphia, Optic.png OpTic recruited both Clayster and Parasite to cope with the move of BigTymer from player to coach, and the loss of Scump. After three days with the team, Parasite decided to return to Curse.png Curse LV, and Ricky soon followed. Optic.png OpTic Gaming then picked up Saints and MBoZe to complete the roster. On January 18th, Saints left OpTic to rejoin Strictly Business, leaving Optic.png OpTic with NaDeSHoT, Clayster and MBoZe. On January 20th, 2014, the recent string of dramatic roster changes on the Optic.png OpTic team continued with perhaps the biggest yet: the return of Scump, who departed from NV.jpg EnVyUs after less than two weeks with the team. On April 14 ProoFy left FaZeBlack.png FaZe Black and rejoined Optic.png Optic Gaming. With that it left MBoZe out of the roster but later named him captain of Optic.png OpTic Nation as it was reborn. April 15th held the roster deadline for season 2 with still three open spots on Optic.png OpTic Nation MBoZe picked up Ricky from SB.png Strictly Business as well as KiLLa and MiRx from Justus.png JusTus. Optic.png OpTic Nation where unable to make season 2 since they where such a newly born team, Optic.png Optic Gaming did indeed make season 2. This leaves OpTic Gaming with NaDeSHoT, Clayster, Scump, ProoFy and OpTic Nation with MBoZe, Ricky, KiLLa, and MiRx.
