It's a never ending Girl's Talk

K-on! is an intense psychological thriller involving an all female band and their experiences in the hard rock lifestyle. It is a beautifully filth stricken and maddening dive into sex, drugs, and rock and roll! The main Character of K-on! is Yui. She is an optimistic girl with dreams and aspirations of becoming a rock and roll singer. She starts a collaboration with drug induced Bassist Mio, who's pratfalls in life she blames on society, a hip young lesbian drummer Ritsu, who longs for the 60's, and of course the ever popular village bicycle, Tsumugi on keyboards!
They come into their first show all dressed up in their rock attire. Mio is sporting a bondage look with a gimp mask, a bulldog necklace, and studded clothing, Mugi decides to go for the innocent school girl with a blouse and a skirt 2 sizes too small like the size of her heart. Ritsu wears a tie dye hair band with pot leaves sticking off to one end and sports a Beatles T-shirt. Yui goes for the otaku madness with a Hello Kitty backpack and school clothes resembling that of Haruhi Suzumiya. They manage to unleash a powerful orgasmic song into the audience's ears which lead into their deadly spiral towards fame.
The band goes on tour that's headed straight for disaster. Ritsu has a fling with Mugi. Mugi has a fling with the sound boy. The sound boy has a fling with a cat. They constantly indulge themselves in drugs and alcohol to the point where they lose all grip of reality. Mio is acting depressed because she's only a bassist and we all know, no one cares about the bassist of a band. She is constantly fighting with Yui. Mio wants to switch over to emo music and Yui is siding with Ritsu on doing 20 minute long Grateful Dead cover songs.
This all leads to the brutal and devastating end when they all gather for the final concert of the season. Everyone is doped out of their minds on stage and are all hanging on to the bitter end of life. That's when, during the middle of the concert, Yui hears the words, "free Bird" during the middle of the concert which causes her to come to an awe inspiring revelation. She halts the band immediately and plays out a glorious speech. She gets emotional how she speaks to the band of how they've been living destructively. They are like caged birds who desperately need to be let out. She gets emotional how she speaks to the band of how she misses the good times and how it's about time to set her own caged birds free. She then walks through the crowd and continues strolling down the road and into the sunset.
The rest of the band revert back to normal again through some intense electroshock therapy, and a year's worth of rehab. The final shot is of the three, glaring out into the sunset as they reflect back on Yui's powerful words and the lesson they learned through the experience.
