● What is Land Warrior?

Land Warrior is primarily a small community project, aimed at uniting groups interested in reenacting milsim US Military as well as USSR/RU Military around early 80's to 2005.

● Why start it?

I speak for the majority when I say I miss the 90's (or for the older guys, the 80's) overall. This here is a small part of the childhood, as well as a mutual interest of old school. A lot of us seen footage of combat on the old CRT TVs, watched the movies like Black Hawk Down, Heartbreak Ridge, Three Kings, Jarhead, played the old Delta Force games, thus the whole name Land Warrior, as a clickbait or attraction from a bygone time.
Plus, who doesn't love the ♥♥♥♥ out of old school?

● What is required right now?

Primarily? Squad leaders and Team leaders. As someone organising this, I personally only have knowledge of correct gear used, correct bits and pieces of loadouts and that's pretty much all. First thing needed are leaders. Then we need people expirienced in military chatter for use as our radiomen. And most important of all, highly expirienced mission makers and people who have tackled Zeus down perfectly.


This should be a decent basic introduction to the group. Most of it will be organised here on the steam group, the website can come later. We are always looking for members, so don't be shy if you share your love for 80's Soviet Afghan and 90's US Kuwait/Iraq!
