Empiresmod weekend populations are getting pretty high again. Most of the pessimists and personalities that drove the new players out have gone away. The game is currently playable thanks to script changes and minor polish improvements and bugfixes. I encourage you to check it out when you get the chance and meet some of the new people. Many of them are pretty fun to play with.
