Welcome to the official group for the Kamen District Q3A server!

We run a custom edited version of the Quake 3 Arena gamemode, allowing Pointshop 2, Unreal Tournament maps, and more.

Kamen District Q3A is a server deticated purely to Quake 3 Arena, run on Gmod. It is loaded with extra features not found in the base gamemode itself! The Q3A server is also a throwback to any Arena FPS, so you might see maps from other games ranging from Unreal to even Halo!

The retail Quake 3 Arena was also built around the idea of modding. Besides just the same few maps and playermodels would get rather boring, wouldn't it?

Currently the server has the base Q3A, Pointshop 2 support, Unreal Tournament map support, and Playermodels from Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament 2k4, and Halo: CE

Quite a few things actually. Curently I'm in the middle of converting existing Halo maps made for Gmod to support Q3A. Future Playermodels include UT'99 and Jailbreak: Source

So far, only playermodels from these games; Quake 3 Arena, Unreal Tournament 2k4, Halo: CE
The Quake 3 Arena playermodels are free for everyone, no points needed. Other playermodels however are donator only.
