Game Over, T1D!

JDRF Game2Give[www.jdrf.org] is a program within JDRF, the leading global type 1 diabetes (T1D) research and advocacy organization, that brings together all types of people who love video games to spread awareness, support each other, and fundraise through our favorite medium.

The program was started in 2019 by game industry veterans who have kids with T1D, a currently incurable autoimmune disease that affects more than 8.7 million people worldwide.

Since then, our community has grown to include hundreds of gamers, streamers, developers, and publishers who have used video games to raise more than $2.5 million for critical research into new treatments and potential cures—and we’ll keep at it until we can say “game over” to T1D!

The Game Over, T1D! Sale features a selection of games whose developers and publishers want to help find a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D), an autoimmune disease that impacts over 9M people worldwide. Following this event, each of the participating companies will make a donation to Breakthrough T1D, the leading global T1D research and advocacy organization.

Breakthrough T1D Play is a program that brings together all types of people who love video games to spread awareness, support each other, and fundraise through our favorite medium. The program was started in 2019 by game industry veterans who have kids with T1D.

Since then, our community has grown to include hundreds of gamers, streamers, developers, and publishers who have used video games to raise more than $7M for critical research into new treatments and potential cures—and we’ll keep at it until we can say GAME OVER to T1D!
