About LAN Parties...

LAN parties are few and far between, but when they occur it is a magical sight to behold. There’s something especially satisfying about headshotting your friend and being able to see and hear their reaction IRL(!).

There’s no doubt that LAN parties take a lot of effort to setup, and there’s no guarantee everything will always work. Games may not always play nice. Internets may not be detected. Circuit breakers may flip off. But thanks to Jason and his trusty equipment and expertise, LAN parties can really work!

Also, thanks to the long life of the current console generation, games are rarely pushing the limits of modern PC computing power. In other words, it doesn’t take a super expensive PC to enjoy some great PC gaming.

Another exciting trend is the “free to play” model for lots of quality games. Combine this with the ridiculously low prices of the frequent Steam sales, and there’s no better place to be gaming than on PC.
