A friend gave me an Acer Aspire (2014/15) that was unused for years. Thank you, Valy! Although I initially tried Linux, I am now back on Windows 10, which runs great on this hardware. I've upgraded it to 8GB RAM and a dual-SSD setup (Samsung 870 EVO 500GB & Kingston 480GB). It features an Intel Pentium N3540 Quad Core (2.16 GHz, 2MB Cache) and 64MB Intel HD graphics.
This 10-year-old laptop still performs like day one—they don't build them like this anymore! After my nephew used my account, I finally reset my achievements using AI and I'm now replaying Half-Life 2 (Anniversary Edition) from scratch. I’ll keep using this machine until it finally gives out.
I look to the future with confidence and realism. Thank you for staying faithful to our group and its rules after all these years!
Thank you all!
