Infinite Bastage, Unlimited Shazbot

A new, partially fragmented transmission bearing the characteristic digital signatures of an Alborghetti Device has been picked up by GCID operatives based in the Yzdag Research Facility. The unique signature would appear to indicate the existence of yet another, as yet unidentified Alborghetti Device. It had previously been believed that the first device, unearthed during the last of the Enceladus expeditions beneath the surface of that moon, was the only one in existence. A Gruman Corporation spokesman refused to discuss what the existence of a second Alborghetti Device might entail. As per Davidian regulations, the Intelligence Division has classified all its findings, mentioning only in the routine update of the Yzdag Facility's public operational log that the transmission seems to have contained information pertaining to shazbot design, without going into further detail.

Briefly after the transmission's interception was announced, the IBSD Jimmy Tango sent word it would be returning to home space imminenty. The capital ship's communications officer dismissed speculation that the timing of this decision was anything other than coincidental.
