TalonnD Steps Down

In a recent comlink post, Marshal TalonnD relinquished his duties as Grand Moff of the Imperial Ground Forces. TalonnD cites personal reasons for his leave. High points in his illustrious career include being the recipient of the Com. Good Conduct Medal and the 150 Events Award. TalonnD will be joining the Imperial Advisors on the structure.

SolidSam has succeeded Talonn as GDC, and Lord Seaba has been chosen as the new GDXO.

Regiment Wars Comes to a Close

The winner of IGF's 2010 Regiment Wars was announced on Saturday. De-throning Cyclone Regiment this year was Lightning, led by Lieutenant General Lord Seaba and Colonel Panzermech.

This victory for Lightning Regiment does not come as a great surprise; four members of the section played more than 250 games in SWBF2. Taking the top spot in number of games was Jack Sparrow with an astounding 354 played.

The companies of Lightning Regiment combined for 80,759 points in 1,452 games to claim the title of 2010 Regiment Wars victors.

IGF had a positive showing this past week as only four members that played failed to earn a ribbon. In the end, getting members involved in the club is what truly matters. Every Regiment wins a victory in that area.
