Indie Games Poland Foundation

Indie Games Poland is a non-profit foundation, which was created in order to support Polish video game developers.

The main role of Indie Games Poland Foundation is to help video game developers in the process of gaining industry expertise, brand creation, promotion and sales. The Foundation is also responsible for creation of social awareness about the role of video games as a modern media and a significant part of modern culture.

The Foundation organizes Polish stands at all main industry fairs around the world, like PAX West in Seattle, Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, Gamescom in Cologne, Nordic Game Conference in Malmo, Quo Vadis Conference in Berlin, Tokyo Game Show, etc., helping Polish game developers promote their projects globally and meet industry media, publishers, investors, and partners.

In order to help game developers gain high-quality industry knowledge, Indie Games Poland Foundation among others:

• Supports all main Polish conferences for game developers like Poznan Game Arena and Game Industry Conference, Pixel Heaven, Digital Dragons etc., and organizes conferences dedicated to special topics (Indie Funding, History in Video Games, Grants in Game Development etc.),
• Organizes and supports Game James (ex. Game Jam in Theater),
• Organizes exhibitions in different countries presenting history of Polish game development,
• Organizes Indie Booster, acceleration program for game developers.

We are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Polish National Booth at PAX West in Seattle — organized by the Indie Games Poland Foundation together with our partners. To mark this occasion, we are showcasing a selection of indie games that have been presented at the Polish booth over the past decade.

To make this celebration even more special, we’ve prepared a dedicated Steam landing page, featuring a curated selection of Polish titles presented at PAX over the past ten years. The collection includes brand-new releases and critically acclaimed hits, representing the best of what independent developers from Poland have to offer.

Behind this initiative is the Indie Games Poland Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting Polish creators worldwide. For over a decade, IGP has been helping indie developers gain visibility, share their work at global events, and connect with players everywhere.

Year 2020 is behind us. It was a very difficult year, during which festivals and trade shows were organized only in online form. We are all excited that Poznan Game Arena and Game Industry Conference will be organized stationary again, allowing tens of thousands of players and creators to celebrate video games together.

During Poznań Game Arena & Game Industry Conference 2021 events we want to give everyone the opportunity to discover real gems from Central and Eastern Europe. Those who cannot join us in Poznan will be able to participate in the event online. We have prepared dozens of demos of newly released games, as well as discounts on games highlighted during Central & Eastern European Game Awards. Among all those games you will find both known hits as well as independent hidden gems that you may have missed so far.

We hope that during next couple of months everything will return back to normal, and we will go back to meeting each other at stationary events. Meanwhile, we encourage you to check the titles that have won the hearts of Poznan audience.
