Let me tell you the tale of Season 8 Steel

I'm not one for making big speeches....I can barely say two sentences without sounding like an idiot. But now that Season 8 is over, and we finally get a chance to relax, I'd like to say a couple things, which I hope you'll read.

At the beginning of this season, I was tired of leading a team, so I said "I'll just hang out in Steel, recruit a bunch of good players who also happen to be my friends, and just take it easy, scrim maybe once or twice a week, nothing serious." Can we all have a big laugh over how wrong I was about relaxing?

Man this has been an intense two months. I've scrimmed, pugged, and practiced in general more in that time than ever before. I've been a total jerk and tryhard, driven you all to the limit....and made some very good friends and had a lot of fun along the way. Standing here at the end, I have to say something that's gonna sound really BS, but I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I've enjoyed every bit of this season, even the parts that put me at risk of premature cardiac arrest. I've grown very fond of you all (yes even you, Sneaky ol' pal). I wouldn't trade the time spent fighting at your side for a spot on The Syndicate or Mixup (not that a total noob like me would ever be in danger of having to make a choice like that!)

The success we've enjoyed is all you guys (thanks for carrying me all season <3). The loyalty, the effort, the amount of work you all put into it...I can't really thank you properly for all that. I hope a 1st Place Steel title is enough. Because that's right my friends....we are the champions!
