Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Remastered

HorizonMW (HMW) is an open-source, fan-made mod project that remasters Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) Multiplayer using the Modern Warfare Remastered (MWR) engine. In addition, the developers are actively working on free DLC called “Nightshade” that will bring all the Multiplayer maps from Modern Warfare 3 (2011) into the game. HMW also supports custom maps, currently the entirety of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare’s Multiplayer maps are ported over and working, as well as Castle from Call of Duty: World at War and Summit from Call of Duty: Black Ops. Some of the maps are ported over from Call of Duty: Online. Various game maps from the series can be ported and converted over depending on the engine (IW3, IW4, IW5, H1, S1, and H2).

HorizonMW does not support piracy in any capacity. You are required to own a legal copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered to run this mod.

Horizon MW aims to enhance the classic Modern Warfare 2, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 experience with updated visuals, modern gameplay features, new maps, new DLC, weapons, and dedicated servers, continuing the legacy of and expanding on the H2M mod project.
