So welcome to Harry's Heroes. Not a guild or a clan or anything particularly formal like that, just a close-knit group of people who often play together - mainly L4D2, but also sometimes Guns of Icarus Online (although we're all in different clans now) and Borderlands 2 and such.

More to the point: With the poor availability of official dedicated servers, the nightmares we have had with modded servers and the inability to opt out of such, and poor performace when hosting local listen servers, I and Harry (Craic) and some others have discussed pitching together to get ourselves a private server. This solves the server availability problem, and gives us the opportunity to run mods of our own choosing, such as an 8-survivor coop plugin (that's what I'm most looking forward to.) The server would be like $12 USD per month.

We haven't acted on or even for-sure decided to get a server yet, but if we do, it's helpful to have a Steam group to anchor the server to. To that end: Harry's Heroes is now a Steam group. Welcome to it. I've put a list of prefered Workshop campaigns on the front page/group description that you should subscribe to when you get a chance.
