I reserve the right to retcon darks if I feel they do not live up to the expectation i have set.

The Darks are a species of genetically engineered parasites that need a "Host" to survive. Once a Dark has a host, they reside within the host's body for an unknown period of time, and gain enough power to manifest a physical form of their own.

Once manifested, a Dark takes on their host's likeness and personality, except for a few differences, such as red eyes, and black clothes.

Darks seem to function like a wolf pack, living by the philosophy that there is safety in numbers, and survival being their number one priority. If you manage to harm one dark, It is almost guaranteed that the others will come to its aid.

The Darks, (Hosts included to some degree) have been known to have powers beyond belief, and have been recorded weilding red fire, lightning, and in some cases, defying base laws of physics, such as cause and effect, and the law of conservation of energy/matter, although in most cases this is only temporary.

The full extent of their powers is unknown, and an instance where a dark demonstrates their true destructive potential has yet to be recorded.
