After searching the base, it seems as though the occupants froze after starving to death. One resorted to cannibalism, confirmed by the cut marks on the bones. The last survivor made it 49 meters out the front door before meeting his fate by falling down a small ravine, breaking his femur, right vertebrae, and his 3rd & 4th rib. It is assumed he lost consciousness before being smothered in snow. NOTE: Decomposition while is apparent, seems to have been preserved by the environment.
