Constantinople, Phanar District

Inside a house in Phanar, the most prominent supporters of independence made a meeting. This meeting would be the turning point of the history of the Balkans. They decided to elect Count Ioannis Capodistrias as the Head of the new Hellenic State, and Alexander Ipsilantis, the Governor of Moldavia as the Head of the War of Independence. They all vowed that they would fight for an Independent Hellenic State covering all regions with a Greek History and Population.

Soon, revolts broke in the Peloponese, where several revolters took the arms agaisn't the Turks, and the Autonomous Government there revolted agaisn't the Turks. Rebbelion broke, with most of the countryside been taken by the revolutionaris, except some forts. From there one, they would continue their march to Athens. Meanwhile the Islands of the Saronic revolted aswell, and equipped with ships, they attack and deal several blows to the Ottoman Fleet.

Indepence was full ahead, in a time where revolutions where everywhere in Europe. It seemed that after 370 years of Ottoman Occupation, the Greeks would have had once again an independent state. Only time would show.
