A popular portion of garrysmod online is the Dark RP. Many times refereed to as the "minge darkrp."This is a gamemode based upon roleplaying where a player selects a job and is to play out that role. Roles include police, citizen, mafia, salesman and much more. More than half of all online garrysmod servers are darkrp servers.
