Trade Steam Games, Save Real Money

Although there are no established practices yet, these are good starting points.

General:
- Use Steam's 'Wishlist' feature, keep it updated and populated.
- View other member wishlists to see if someone is looking for a game you might be willing to part with.

Use Group Comments:
- To regularly announce any popular and/or newly released (relatively) titles you're looking to part with, there's a good chance someone will be immediately interested. Many game genre's typically don't offer infinite replay value, such as single-player, RPG, action/adventure, casual/puzzle, etc, and are ideal for playing and passing. Or it may be a game with limitless replayability, such as a multiplayer FPS or RTS, but you're simply 'done' with it for whatever reason, also ideal to post up.
- To announce/confirm trades. The particulars of a trade (title A for title B, title A for title A, B and C, title A for $10 via PayPal, title A for title B where title B is a steam title purchased and sent as a gift) can be discussed and agreed on through any method (chat, email, voice, phone, etc), HOWEVER, when an agreement is made it must be posted up to the group message board by one party and confirmed by the other party with a confirmation post that the terms are agreed.
- When the transaction has completed successfully, both parties receiving their end, another 'confirmation of receipt' post should be made so I know that the trade is complete and to award both parties an XP point.

"Experience Points" (XP)
- I'll be documenting every trade completed through the group. When a trade completes, both parties will earn one XP.
- XP is one of the determiners for determining the etiquette of 'who goes first' for an online trade. In general, whichever party has less XP 'goes first', that is, they transfer their goods/payment first. When both parties haven't completed any previous trades and have no XP, the person with the longer group membership has more seniority and acts as having more XP, the person with the shorter group membership transfers first.

Trading/Payment:
- Before a trade takes place there should documented agreement to the trade, aka posts on the message board.
- After that is confirmed, the trade should take place when both parties are online and live with each other to avoid any possible unforeseen circumstances.
- Whomever has less XP or less seniority transfers first.
- When a transaction completes successfully, both parties receiving their end of the deal, a final 'receipt' post should be made by both.

This is a first draft, I'm open to suggestion, although this seems pretty thorough to start!
