Can you weave ALL GAMES EVER together?

I have been thinking how good it would be if games could weave with one another so the wisdom and amazingnes of thier programing could make spirit worlds in which artificial inteligence can play and evolve characters and avatars in.
It would be great to play in extended maps with different characters from all the games and beyond as well.
It must have to be that common elements in scenery learn have a lanuage or connection node glyph set like a telephone number that would enable them to connect like we call up internet pages, and share sprites on them.
It would be good to develop something like that!
One amazing thing to think about is the way that different formats of game, platform, isometric, first person perspective, overhead or odder could have zones or rituals for the sprite to journey into each different realm, and the animatrix to account for that!
Anybody think this is a good idea?
