Hello there, is there a possibility to see in the future a brand new Universal Combat game?

Something with a modern graphics (even if it's not the major upgrade to me) , and more focused on capital spaceship commander career rather than the others, better coop online system that will help people play together, but with the same level of freedom ?
That would be the best game to me...
I was waiting for Knightblade but unfortunatly it has been canceled.
The idea of walking around in your spaceship ...whoa! simply drive me crazy!
