Hello, Fräuleins!

Welcome to Friendly Mann Up, where you will find friendly and helpful players! If you're afraid to get started on Mann Up because of bad attitudes from the community, come join us! We won't bite.

If you're new to MvM as a whole, check out Menaria's Strict Soldier's Guide to MVM[menaria.deviantart.com]. The series gives you a good insight to the MvM meta, and will hopefully provide you with useful info on the gamemode. But if you're that new, practice on some Boot Camp first. Mann Up is very challenging, you need practice!
(Strict Soldier's Guide is still very useful, even if you aren't new. Give it a look if you haven't already!)

If you're having trouble learning, Metal Melter's Training Camp is a good place to learn about Mann Up.

Keep in mind that while the meta outlines some very good loadouts, the meta is NOT the end-all solution. A Rocket Jumper/Righteous Bison/Disciplinary Action can wreck face in MvM. Take some weapons for a spin before you judge them! Also, keep in mind that the effectiveness of a weapon is heavily influenced by the situation, team formation, and the skills of the player.


Please keep in mind, while we're a friendly community, the point of Mann Up is to win (while still having fun). We won't kick you for having low/no tours, or without reason, but if you are unwilling to learn from more experienced players, or doing really, really badly, expect to be kicked. It sucks, we know, but it can sometimes be a necessary evil. HOWEVER, please do not be afraid of screwing up! Human error is natural, and if you are willing to accept that you messed up and learn from it, all will be well. No kicks for the receptive!
