[1stIR] is a fictional army designed by CMB, used in Warhammer 40, 000® as an Imperial Guard Army™.
They are now a group for gaming in games such as Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source and mods such as Garry's Mod and INSURGENCY: Modern Infantry Combat.

Founded: M41.976 (2 years old in Real World)
History: Fought in a conflict alongside the Space Marines, with a coalition of the Tau Empire and the Eldar Craftworlds on an unnamed desert planet, against an alliance of Chaos, Orks and Dark Eldar.

The Iradar forces provided fire support from the ruins of an old outpost, and succesfully helped the destruction of an Ork Stompa Titan.
