FANTA US EAST 24/7 ARK SERVER

This will be the 3rd time I have typed this message. That being said let me say thanks to everyone to the people who have played since day one and the people that only played for one day. Thank you to all, I started this server just for my group of friends and didnt even think people would join it, and even stay for that matter.

To show thanks im going to try my absolute hardest to make the server fresh and interesting Here are some ideas, and events that might take form at some point during this servers life span.

1. Race event, Really simple. I will pick a random color obelisk (giant floating colored towers) and you all have to race to me. The first person to get on the platform wins. Also pvp will be very real during this time. So to balance that. The first BODY to enter that platform area wins.

2. Scavenger hunt. Same thing as race, however I will always be at the same colored obelisk. However this time I will call out certain items and how much of each item. The first person to bring me those items wins. again pvp is very much allowed. Same rules apply to this. First BODY attached with the items win.

3. Cops and Robbers. This one is kinda tricky but also very fun event if played. I will pick 3 tribes at random. (you must opt in) one tribe is the "bank" one tribe is the cope and the other are the robbers. The idea is the "bank" tribe will have a key item that I will give to them. They have to protect it for a set time period. Like a week, of real life time. The cops have to protect it, and the robbers have to steal it/them. The bank tribe gets a prize every day they manage to keep the key item(s) The cops also get a small prize every day, and a bonus prize for every robber they kill. Robbers get a huge prize for stealing all the key items before the time is up.

4. Fighting pits. Classic 1v1 fight to the deth. Rules are two man enter and one can leave. Very straight forward. Anything goes. However most fights will be used with all weapons but guns/grenades.

5. Dino pits. Same concept as the fighting pits but.. well you guessed it dinos. Wager against each other and we will eve have our own little tournament. They must fight each other un-manned.

6. Ladders! Nooo not metal/wooden ladders, but think diablo2 ladders. After a set period of time what ever tribe has the highest total level will win a prize, and then their will be a server wide reset, and the winning tribe will start with some really nice items that can only be gotten from winning a ladder.

7. Seasons! Same as the ladders just no ranking. After a set period I will preform a full server wipe. This will make things fresh and encourage new people to still play on the server, This prevents the problems that games like Rush,h1z1, and dayZ have, which are tons of tiny little shacks build all over that just look ugly and have no reason.

8. Custom items. This one is a big BIG BIG maybe, it all depends if they release the mod/dev kit for the game and allow creation of custom items. I have a strong background working with the unreal engine so this should be really simple and easy for me to do. Can you say.. light sabers?

9. Level Reset. I plan on implementing a way for people to reset their levels once getting to level 60. However you will need certain items which will be hard to obtain. When resetting levels, you will lose all engrams but keep your stats. This is a key feature that I want to add. Which should not be hard.

10. This last one is a touchy subject I touched on it a little bit during global chat in game. The one thing people seem to like about the server is the low pop, that people arnt on top one another but yet you still manage to see people. However I still feel like we have room to grow in population. This server is currently being home hosted off a custom build server. However just like the game. The server is not optimized at all and uses up a whole 55% of my 16gigs of ram. Which brings me to my next topic. Donations. I am fully willing to take donations. Only if I can work things out to make it fair and balanced. For donating you will get a whitelist spot along with an instant server login position. No more being locked out when full. With the donations they will not be going to me they will be going to keeping the server running. If we get enough donations a month I will end up setting up a professional hosting service.

I have many other ideas for donating, but I dont want to say anything to scare people. I want to make sure its for the greater good of the server and it doesnt give off a greedy cashgrab feel.
