Guiding indie developers to do 'what is right' by the consumer

Welcome. If you've happened upon these pages, chances are you're wanting to serve an eviction notice!

This group will no doubt evolve in due course, though the point is essentially to encourage indie developers to do 'what is right' by those that actively support them either financially or by some other means (such as Greenlight); a relationship with consumers that differentiates them from the mega corporations who have since lost much of their grip upon the market.

Some developing start-ups may sometimes need to be reminded (due in part to a relative lack of experience within the field) that we're on their side, and that consumers should be treated with the respect they deserve. It often boils down to ethics and company morals which you'd expect an indie developer to exhibit - whether independent, Greenlight or crowdfunded, and to have a greater affinity toward than do companies like Ubisoft or EA.

If you've had a negative or positive experience with a game within a bundle, Greenlight campaign or any other experience pertaining to indie development here on Steam, feel free to let us know about the circumstances (and results if possible) for there will be many who will be interested to find out.
