Molecule 01 consists of one single ingredient, which is also known as 'Iso E Super' in the fragrance industry. On its own it is less of an aroma than an effect. The wearer may notice a pleasant, subtle velvety-woody note which will vanish, then re-surface after some time, but more than this, she or he will notice the impact it has on other people, because molecule 01 lends an indefinable radience to the wearer. In fact, its effect is almost pheromonic. This is fragrance at its most radical.

Escentric 01 is an homage to a single scent ingredient. It consist of 'Iso E Super' in an unprecedented concentrstion (65%), together with other ingresients (including pink pepper, green lime and balsamic notes like benzoin, mastic and incense) in a new balance - rather than the traditional formula of top, heart and base notes, Escentric 01 moves quickly from top to bottom, focusing on a long, sensuously lingering base note that shifts almost like colours in a prism. The drydown has an almost addictive quality, made of the warmest musks and woody notes. It is as though the fragrance has no heart, but an enormous amount of soul. Molecule 02 is based on ambroxan, a nature-identical aroma-molecule. Real ambroxan is found in ambergris, but the stratospheric cost of its extraction makes it prohibitive for use in fragrance. Ambergris itself is one of the few natural animalic fragrance ingredients that has no connotations of cryelty because it is produced and excreted by the sperm whale. It can float on the ocean for years evolving under the influence of sun and salt water. Then it is collected when it washes up on shore, by which stage its distinctive nutty, warm scent is a symphony of boronal, ambrinol, dihydro ionone gamma - and its best-smelling aromatic part, ambroxan. Wear Molecule 02 and you will notice a fresh, almost mineral smoothness which subtly expands to envelop you.

Escentric 02 uses an unparalleled concentration of ambroxan, in combination with vetiver and muscone, a particularly gorgeous nature-identical musk. Orris, elderflower extract and hedione lead into the instant effervescence of the topnote, again, a fresh 'mineral' effect.
