Boycotting Valve's old but still not out anytime soon title

The Episode 3 boycott is a group of individuals who are boycotting Episode 3. And if we get enough members, Valve will be forced to take notice and invite us to their HQ for exclusive playtests just like those guys at the L4D2 boycott group.



WE RECOGNIZE:

-Valve is a company with financial needs and cannot be expected to survive without the release of new games in the interum that they are working on Episode 3.

-Judgment cannot be passed on the quality of Episode 3 until we get to playtest it.

-Epsiode 3 was, and is, and forever will be a quality game which deserves the praise of the entire gaming community, however...

WE ARE COMMITTED:

-To holding Valve to its promise of all expenses paid trips to its headquarters for boycott group organizers.

-To keeping the boycott community together in order to improve the quality of episodic gaming.

-To supporting the model of continual updates Valve has set forth with its non-Half-Life products like Team Fortress 2.

WE BELIEVE:

-The release of Episode 3 without us playtesting it first will split the boycott communities and decrease the quality of singleplayer gaming.

-The the lack of announced information for Episode 3 does not warrant that it is immune to boycotting.

-Boycott groups other than the L4D2 one have not yet received the support and headquarters visits which Valve has repeatedly stated will be delivered.

-The release of Episode 3 will make Episode 2 an obsolete purchase and inferior piece of software after only one decade since release.

WE REQUEST:

-That Valve honor its commitment to release plane tickets for us to Bellevue, Washington.

-That Episode 3 not be released until we playest it.

-That boycott group owners be given discounts for Episode 3, should it be released as premium content.


Therefore, we - the members of this Epsiode 3 boycott group- promise to abstain from the purchase of Episode 3 until our requests are addressed.
