Celebrating the best games from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

The German Developer Award (DEP) is the oldest and most prestigious award for video games from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Since 2004, an independent jury has recognized outstanding achievements in game development – from indie gems to large-scale productions. On 2 December 2025, it will once again be awarded in 14 categories at one of Cologne's most prestigious event locations, the Gürzenich.
