Mortality Dimension is a work-in-progress permadeath platformer where you can switch between dimensions where things are similar but not exactly the same as the last. You can play as a scout, general, commando or a vigilante, and with a seemingly infinite list of weapons and armor and upgrades, the choices are endless.

First things first, all of these are free:

GameMaker Studio, PiskelApp for sprites. Save sprites as PNG. If you don't save right it will download as .piskel and GameMaker and lots of other things do not read .piskel files. If we do a mobile version, we port the project to GameLooper. For demo we can do Stencyl (drag&drop) or just GameMaker. Also, we can try HTML5 version but we would need to create a website (we don't have that covered). However I think we can just move the game to HTML5 with GameMaker. For trailer we can make it in GameMaker as a seperate project.

I'm a noob at GameMaker Studio.

Yup.
You heard that right.
If you guys are pros at GameMakerStudio and have tips or tutorial vids, please help me out.

Just checked, 64-bit isn't always 3-D, and we can do 32-bit. So I'm thinking we could do 64-bit for the cutscenes, artwork, title screen and stuff that isn't the actual gameplay, and we can do 32-bit for the gameplay.
