So! Here's the nitty gritty:

* Griefing and trolling aren't cool. Guilty players will be permanently banned WITHOUT WARNING and at the admins' discretion. Play nice and mind your manners and you'll be just fine.

* Most of the time (but not always!) we use some mods. For more info visit the Discussion tab. These mods may change occasionally at server resets, or we may even toss in a Vanilla world once in a while!

* If we are using the Camp Security mod, all containers begin UNlocked and the builder must add him/herself to lock it. Hover over an item and press the letter O to modify.

* There's no pressure to chat or team up--you can log in and play a solo game, or you can adventure with other players. You can focus on your base and survival, you can be a boss fighter, or a little of both--It's up to you!

Well, hello fellow survivors of the Constant! =)

In celebration of the Winter's Feast update and the upcoming new year, we've got an Endless server up and running, 100% vanilla and no mods (for now...). I plan to let it run at least through January if the interest is there.

It's crazy to think Old School was first online over 10 years ago! I hope you'll hop on to say hello and hang out a while :)

Fresh Server Up!

Heyhey, everyone! :DSTtophat:

To start off, something of note:
If you've played on our server previously, part of our goal is to provide a little longevity so people can take their time and explore the world and all the amazing game content, or build up their base! Typically the world goes 1k-3k days. I'd love to let it run the entire month of October :DSTskull: However, if over the course of a week there's very little activity, I will wipe and refresh it. Since I do pay for the hosting, I don't want it sitting there inactive for too long!

Now for all the fresh server deets:
Gotta few extra mods added this time!

New this time:
  • Epic Healthbar (for bosses)
  • Not Enough Turfs (You must build the Terraformer in the Prototypers & Stations menu of the Alchemy Engine to access all the turfs!)

Same ol' mods:
  • Camp Security
  • DST Path Lights
  • Finder Mod
  • Health Info (for non-boss mobs)
  • Increase Storage
  • Increase Stack Size
  • Extra Equip Slots
  • World Cleaner Ver.K

In addition, I've made a few tweaks to the World Settings/World Gen:
  • No wildfires
  • No grass gekko morphing
  • More hunts and hunt surprises!
  • More Walrus Camps (we should at least get 3-4)

Sometimes we make it super hard, sometimes we make it easier for something different. You can see the mods we're using before you join if that's not your playing preference :) Also, read through the group description for more information on how it's geared toward more experienced players.

Hey, Kim! Nope, I think there was an update yesterday and I hadn't been available to install them on the server. The server will automatically shut down once it's incompatible because of updates. Working on it now...it will be back up soon! :)
