The Grade 5B Case Files is a text adventure game themed around the daily life of elementary school students solving mysteries.

Join Homu and Watsen as they uncover various everyday yet mysterious incidents at school. Through investigation and deduction, they will crack the secrets hidden in plain sight. The Steam page is now live, so be sure to add it to your wishlist!

Watsen, a Grade 5B student at Seashell Elementary, buys a cute notebook from a stationery store. Little does she know, this notebook marks the beginning of a mystery-solving duo with her classmate Homu. Together, they will investigate "cases" around the school. What others may dismiss as trivial matters, Homu and Watsen find to be clues and puzzles.

In this game, you'll join Homu and Watsen to collect clues, investigate, think critically, and crack one small mystery after another.

Classmates, teachers, and even students from other grades

will all play their part in this exciting mystery drama!

If you get stuck during your investigations, just flip through Watsen’s notebook—she’s carefully recorded every clue!

The game features a chapter-based linear narrative structure, with a total of 5 chapters, each taking about 1 hour to play. Chapter 1 will be available for free, and subsequent chapters will be released as DLC. As the story progresses, the school world will gradually expand.

Chapters 1-3 are expected to release this year, with further updates to follow!

There are also plans for new installments in the series, each containing 5 chapters, continuing to explore mysteries hidden in daily life.

The game is developed by Teacher Li, with art by zahyou and published by Eternal Dream Studio.
