After a long period of silence, this is a lifesign to let you guys know we are still kicking and the project is waking up from its hiatus.

These are the news as brief headlines:
- acquired the Luna Engine
- created more NPCs with actual AI (including possible love interests)
- bought and created more art assets
- reworked the user interface to look more dynamic
- adding king/overlord stage with taxation system
- adding more survival crafting types and recipes

It will probably take some time to show off results because I am really busy in real life, but I will do my best to get back on track.

We are currently reworking the game engine (scripting core) with advanced features from third party scripts and some ideas of our own. It is taking a lot of time, but it will definitely be worth it when it's done.

Some of the things this will allow for:
- easily managable regrowing/respawning plants/resources
- much easier implementation of smart NPCs and special events
- more cool stuff for the player house (more minions!)

We also still need more members for mapping, questing and general story design, so apply now!

EDIT:
Updated the link shown from r47 to r50 - now you get the complete intro and even most of the character selection process!
The tech demo part has been removed though, because players tended to find that but not the path to continue the intro.
You can still try out all the tech demo features by downloading the tech demo in its announcement or in the dev discussion thread.

EDIT@25.09.2014:
Just updated the tech demo link to the latest tech demo which adds more map, searching tiles for items and really tough skelly mobs.

I recorded a brief (3min) clip of how the menus look now together with going though the farming demo map and showing the new dynamic interaction system that doesn't take you out of the action when processing harvesting, cooking and more.
