1 First The Director made Left 4 Dead.

2 Left 4 Dead was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of The Director was moving over the face of the terrain.

3 And The Director said, "Let there be clients"; and there were clients.

4 And The Director saw that the clients were good; and The Director separated the clients from the NPCs.

5 The Director called the clients Players, and the NPCs he called Zombies. And there were zombies and there were players, one day.

6 And The Director said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."

7 And The Director made the firmament and separated the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. And it was so.

8 And The Director called the firmament Source SDK. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
