Hi Everyone,

Happy Monday to you. In an effort to avoid working I thought it would be kind of cool to talk about some sort of training schedule. We've got a wide variety of skill levels in the group and people with different experience on different maps.

So how do we get better? Well, we need to train together so that when we play there's more fluidity. What should we train? Well on solo, everyone should be training their aim, all the time. My routine (and my aim sucks) is to spend 15-20 minutes in a work shop map called Aimbotz by Mr. Ulletical. I work exclusively with the weapons I use in comp modes and work on getting headshot kills only.

Afterwards I'll hop into between 1-5 arms races to get my movement warmed up and aligned with my aim. Then it's time to queue. That's a daily routine for me. What I'm talking about here is specifically training team tactics and smokes and flashes.


Things that I think need focused on as observed by my unskilled self:
Establishing mid control - T and CT side (Dust 2 and Mirage)


Retaking sites (Especially B site) (dust 2) as a team

Effective and proper communication in team environments (Believe me when I say it, solo queuing and ending up on a team that doesn't communicate, is a game killer) Good teams communicate with each other. Excellent teams communicate with each other extremely well.

Managing team economy (this is the one thing I struggle more with than anything else about the game (ok except for being really bad at playing))

When should I use a smoke? Who should throw what smoke?

Rotations and over rotations - Effective rotation calls and pathways

Is there such a thing as too many awpers?

After you've read through this, please provide comment on the things you'd like to see added to the training list. Also comment on what we should train on first and the day you're most available to train. (I say day, but mean evening....I work M-F and have 2 children, so I might sneak in practice before dinner, but my gameplay comes after 830 typically) (that's Eastern time).
