Tip #2) The marketplaces are dangerous and looted often. When going to a market, you are a shoot to kill target and so is anybody besides you that's coming there.

Tip #3) Anybody with a scoped rifle, or assault rifle is a bandit.

Trick #1) Others players are as friendly as the stuff you own. No good stuff you're not a bother. If they notice that you have a good pack, you will get shot on sight.

Trick #2) Your pack determines your value rating to other players. Coyote (noob) Czech (Medium) Alice (Valuable) CoyoteXL ( Shot without warning).

Trick #3) Semi auto on a gun, conserves ammo and helps conceil your location from your target. Full Auto scares most noobs into submission(prone), until they run away.

Remember these few tips and Tricks and you will survive the rough terrain of Dayz.

Bonus Tip and Trick) Helicopters are usually broken and are camped by snipers to kill unsuspecting noobs. This rule goes for most military bases or other high value areas.
Avoid, these areas until you are ready to go head north.
