DinosAteMyBaby : PvP ARK Servers [Scorched Earth/The Center Cluster]

The Server

Rules
  • No excessive griefing.
  • KOS is OK, however, it should have a purpose.
  • No gateways/gates on platforms (AKA, no full metal/invincible Platform Dinos).
  • Destory taming pens away from your base once done. This allows new players to have more places to build.

Server Settings
  • Max players = 50
  • Harvest = 4x
  • Tame = 8x
  • XP = 2x
  • Admin logging = On
  • Crosshair = enabled
  • Third person = enabled
  • Players: +8% HP Regen, 25% less Stamina drain
  • Floating damage numbers = enabled
  • Max wild dino level = 210
  • Wild dino damage = 2.5x
  • Wild dino resistance = 15%
  • Structures 15% stronger
  • Max players in tribe = 12
  • Breeding: Mating Interval 20% faster, EggHatch 10x, Baby Mature 8x, Imprinting Effectiveness +10%, Cuddle Interval 58% faster, Cuddle Grace Period 20% longer
  • Tamed Dino weight per point = 3.0x
  • Crop growth speed = 1.5x
  • Resources respawn 35% closer to structures & take 2x longer to respawn
  • Additional engram point per level, additional 4 points every 10 levels (mod engram point compensation).
  • Auto destroy old structures timer extended 20%
  • Platform structure limit increased by 10%.
  • Keratin and Chitin gathering 1.5x
  • Server Events: Some Weekends

Map Difficulty is now 7.0

Along with a recent update, Wildcard [finally] put in a setting that allowed servers to increase the map difficulty. Here is what it means for us:

  • ScorchedEarth Previous Difficulty 4.0, upped to 7.0
  • TheCenter Previous Difficulty 5.0, upped to 7.0
  • Wild Dinosaurs will spawn up to level 210 on both servers
  • Highest level Wyvern Eggs is now 266
  • Much better loot drops from all crates, as difficulty is a scaler for loot quality as well

There were zero people on at the time it disappeared. Doesn't really matter though, it wasn't a large tower or anything, so I didn't lose much. Just seems to be a trend that's happening since it's two structures in different locations now. :/
Also, did not know that about the ORP. Thanks. :)

Not sure about your tower. Maybe someone blew it up? ORP doesn't let you ride anything for like 2 minutes when you first log in, not sure why, just they way it is.

The tower was up for weeks before it disappeared. A behemoth gate also disappeared on me. And I'm unable to ride my flying mounts, for some reason (this is an intermittent issue...it comes and goes, but is present more often than not). The issue was first just affecting my argent, but is now also affecting my lymantria.

Hey Akroma, there were a few resets that day that could have reverted to the last save. It was probably one of those.

Noticed that my taming tower, not far from my base, is missing since the last time I logged in. Issue during the recent downtime, or purposefully removing structures and assumed it was unused?

Still working to resolve the cluster issues, server may be in and out some until it is resolved.
