VLR Sub-group ... Map R&D

Years ago I started making maps for HL2DM when ShellShock was still on Steam ... you know: before the exile. I have recently decided to start making them again. I am looking for players to test the new maps for playability and function. I welcome any ideas for a map that you would like to see. I started with a basic "killbox" to reaquaint myself with the Hammer program. It is a simple "kill your buddies" type map. Most of the maps I make are not full of custom textures and fancy buildings .. they are functional and great for fast kills. You don't go around admiring the decor when your friends are shooting you in the ass.

I have made many maps for the groups that used to play ShellShock. Yes I am The Notorious "ReDnEcK" that kicks dogs and steals candy from babies.

I also make avatars and graphics for players and groups. I have a website set up for requests and an extensive display of avatars made over the years. If you need graphics for websites ... I can do that too. Just give me the size needed and what you want it to look like.

I have been playing on servers with a lot of the members in VLR since 2007. When ShellShock was first introduced: we were having the best time I had on Steam ... ever! We may not be able to reproduce the same environment since some of the gang are AWOL, but there is no reason not to attempt it. We have ShellShock running on the server and maps from the good old days. I joined VLR so we all have access to this. VLR has history and a great group of guys. I think I made the right choice.
